DIRECT ANSWER

What does a complete commercial wi-fi scope require?

Reliable Wi-Fi is designed from user density, applications, device capabilities, materials, interference, roaming and wired infrastructure. Access-point count and signal strength alone do not prove that the network will perform where people actually use it.

TERAPIXELS CAPABILITIES

From field conditions to tested closeout.

Predictive design

Initial placement and channel planning based on drawings, materials, use and capacity.

Onsite survey and validation

Measurements for coverage, interference, roaming and post-install performance.

Guest and staff architecture

SSIDs, authentication, isolation, policy, bandwidth and onboarding workflows.

Wireless remediation

Troubleshoot coverage gaps, sticky clients, channel contention, cabling, power and configuration.

DESIGN DECISIONS

Resolve the variables before equipment and labor are committed.

Capacity versus coverage

A space can show strong signal while still failing under user or application load.

Building materials

Concrete, metal, glass, elevators, guestrooms, shelving and exterior transitions shape RF behavior.

Client behavior

Phones, scanners, laptops, IoT and specialty devices support different bands, channels and roaming features.

FIELD PLANNING GUIDE

How to plan Wi-Fi for a hotel, office or public venue

Coverage maps are only one input. A guest corridor, conference room, outdoor patio and warehouse aisle create different RF, roaming and client-density problems.

Set measurable targets

Agree on use areas, device types, applications, capacity, minimum signal and acceptable performance before placement.

Check the wired side

Confirm cable, PoE budget, switch ports, uplinks, VLANs, authentication and internet capacity for every access point.

Validate after installation

Survey the installed layout and test representative devices, guest isolation and handoff behavior; record exceptions by location.

What you should receive: The deliverable should identify access-point locations, channel and power assumptions, SSIDs and policies, survey findings, and the changes needed to meet the agreed goals.

PROJECT CLOSEOUT

Make the system understandable after installation.

The installation is only complete when the customer can identify what was installed, where it connects, how it was tested, what remains open and who owns the next action.

  • Wireless design or survey report
  • Access-point location plan
  • SSID and policy schedule
  • Validation findings and remediation list
COMMON APPLICATIONS

Design

Define architecture, products, responsibilities, testing, budget and implementation.

Deploy

Coordinate installation, configuration, migration, commissioning and training.

Support

Preserve system knowledge, resolve issues and plan the lifecycle.

Local commercial service with office support in Irvine and San Diego.

PLANNING QUESTIONS

Direct answers about commercial wi-fi.

How many access points do we need?

The count depends on floor plan, materials, capacity, applications, client types, channel plan and coverage targets. A survey or predictive design provides a defensible basis.

Can you troubleshoot Wi-Fi from another installer?

Yes. We can review the wired network, controller or cloud configuration, channel use, power levels, coverage, interference and client behavior.

What is a post-installation validation?

It verifies the installed system against agreed coverage and performance goals, documents exceptions and identifies adjustments before final closeout.
