What we collect

We collect the information you choose to send us. You can browse terapixels.net without giving us any personal details.

• Project inquiries. The contact questionnaire asks for your name, company, email address, phone number, services of interest, project location, approximate square footage, occupancy and a description of your project.
• Service requests. The service request form asks for your name, organization, email, phone number, site address, affected system, urgency and a description of the issue.
• Website chat. If you ask the chat assistant to start an inquiry or connect you with our team, it asks for your name, company, email, phone number and a short description of what you need.
• Technical details. Each submission records the page it was sent from and the time it was received. Our website host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to operate and secure the site.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry or service request, prepare proposals and estimates, schedule and deliver work, and keep records of our communication with you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How the website chat works

The chat assistant runs in your browser and answers questions using the content published on terapixels.net. Questions you type are not stored or sent to Terapixels while you are only browsing answers.

When you choose to start an inquiry or ask to talk with our team and provide your contact details, those details are sent to Terapixels together with the chat conversation, so our team has the context of your question.

Who receives your information

Submissions from the questionnaire, service request form and chat are saved in our website’s secure administration area, sent by email to the Terapixels team, and may trigger a text-message alert to a Terapixels staff phone containing your name and contact details so that we can respond promptly.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and these notifications, such as our website host and email and text-message providers, and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Text messages

Terapixels Systems, Inc. sends text-message alerts only to its own staff, who opt in by adding their mobile number in our website administration settings and agreeing to receive alerts about new website inquiries. Website visitors do not receive text messages from us, and the phone number you enter in a form is not used to send you texts.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to deliver these alerts and are shared only with our text-message provider for that purpose. Cookies and tracking

The terapixels.net website does not use advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are read and whether an inquiry was sent. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details; it does not receive what you type into our forms or chat. You can opt out with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our website host may set technical cookies and run performance and security monitoring that is needed to deliver and protect the site. Our fonts are provided by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google. If we add advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry and service records for as long as needed to respond, provide services, maintain business records and meet legal obligations, and then delete them. Access to submissions is limited to authorized Terapixels staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. California residents may have additional rights under California law. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
